Established almost two decades ago, the Middle College High School (MCHS) seeks to augment the Gallup-McKinley public school system through the offering of concurrent enrollment and an innovative and high quality individualized learning environment with an emphasis on serving students of diverse backgrounds who are normally underrepresented. Partnering with the University of New Mexico-Gallup (UNM-G), MCHS provides students with access to a variety of associate degree opportunities, including the most commonly pursued: Liberal Arts, Science, Nursing, and Business Administration. Along with being one of the oldest early college high schools in the state of New Mexico, MCHS also boasts the highest graduation rate in the district at over 92%.
