This webinar series from the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) and Advance CTE focuses on strategies to support the nine learner groups identified as special populations by the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins V), as well as emerging populations that may need additional support.

The September webinar will focus on instructional strategies and supports for CTE special populations such as teaching techniques, co-teaching models, accommodations, and tutoring. Speakers from ACTE, Advance CTE, CAST, and the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will share examples, considerations, and approaches such as Universal Design for Learning and the Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (I-BEST) model.
