Offering technical courses through Navajo Technical University (NTU), the Bond Wilson Technical Center (BWTC) allows students to remain enrolled at their home high school while completing postsecondary courses. Serving the Central Consolidated School District (CCSD), Bond Wilson has developed university pathways for students in computer science, pre-engineering, welding, construction, industrial maintenance operations, and culinary arts. Bond Wilson relies upon its postsecondary partner NTU, as well as local industry partners, including Raytheon and Teach for America. In spite of Bond Wilson’s academically demanding model, it makes sure to provide safeguards to support student academic achievement and early warning interventions have been built into the program model.
